About Adamas University

Adamas University was established in 2014 under the West Bengal Act IV of 2014 as a state private university. It grew out of the RICE group of institutions and is promoted by the Sachis Kiron Roy Memorial Trust, with Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray as Chancellor. Its campus covers about 120 acres at Barasat-Barrackpore Road, Barbaria, Kolkata 700126, West Bengal.

The university reports students and faculty from more than 25 countries and collaborations with more than 85 universities across 41 countries. Placements

Placement figures are reported by education portals and conflict between sources, so they are indicators, not promises.

Source Reported figure
Collegedekho (2025) 80% placement rate; about 50 companies visiting; highest package INR 15 lakh; average INR 6 lakh; median INR 4 lakh
Careers360 (2024-25 medians) 3-year UG: INR 6 lakh; 4-year UG: INR 3.35 lakh; 2-year PG: INR 3 lakh
Careers360 (2024) Highest package reported at INR 1 crore per year (a figure that conflicts with the 2025 highest of INR 15 lakh)

Recruiters named in public sources include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, Abbott, Capgemini, Deloitte, IndusInd Bank and Maruti Suzuki. Older Q&A comments quote very different numbers, so GEE Bangladesh advises students to ask for programme-wise placement data before choosing a course.
