PDEU Spot Admission in Bangladesh
Pandit Deendayal Energy University widely known as PDEU is the first Energy University in India. It is located in Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat, India, and only 14 kilometers from Ahmedabad International Airport. PDEU was established in 2007 as a state-private university.
Perhaps, you have heard the name of Reliance Industries in India. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is one of the giant industries in the world that deals in petrochemicals, refining, oil, gas exploration, telecommunications, retail, media, etc. Chairman of Reliance Group Dr. Mukesh Ambani is the Founder Chairman of Pandit Deen Dayal Energy University (PDEU). Thus, it is easily assumable, that PDEU is the reflection and a research center of the Reliance Industries.
The benefits of studying at PDEU are unlimited. As a research center of RIL, students get a better understanding and in-depth knowledge of their area of study which will enable them to handle giant industries. Social work, learning one more language, and industry visits are mandatory for every student while studying at PDEU.
PDEU does not focus on the number of admissions. Indian students appear in a tough entrance examination to get a seat at PDEU. The admission competition is like IIT and IIM which ensures only qualified students get chances to study at PDEU. Even for international admission, PDEU accepts students through the DASA Scheme. Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is an initiative of the Indian government that gives foreign nationals and non-resident Indians (NRIs) the chance to enroll in undergraduate and graduate programs at renowned Indian institutions.
Every year only 150 to 200 international students get a chance to study at PDEU through the DASA Scheme. PDEU's international student admission system is not like most of the Indian state-private universities.
Only qualified international students from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar, Africa, Latin America, and Gulf countries may get scholarships from PDEU for funding higher studies in India.
