Network Administrator Workshop at GEEtech on March 4

A daylong workshop for Network Administrator will be held at GEEtech on 4 March 2020. Network Administrator expert (US Council) Mr. Maruf Alam James from Bangalore, India will conduct the daylong workshop for the Network Administrator.

The workshop will begin at 11:00 am and will continue till 4:00 pm following lunch arrangement. Participants will have to pay BDT 2200/- within 1st March 2020. Payment can be made through BKash personal No 01754883484.

A network administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading any software or hardware required to efficiently run a computer network. The IT or computer network may extend to a local area network, wide area network, the Internet and intranets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers

Install and integrate new server hardware and applications

Keep an eye out for needed updates

Support and administer third-party applications

Ensure network security and connectivity

Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses

Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords

Resolve problems reported by end-user

Define network policies and procedures

Specify system requirements and design solutions

Research and make recommendations on server system administration
