Admission Criteria
M Tech
Applicant must have B Tech/BE/B Sc engineering degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks.

PhD
Applicant must have M Tech/ME/M Sc engineering degree in the relevant field with at least 60% marks.

Scholarship for Bangladesh national
SRM Institute of Science & Technology announced 35% economy scholarship and 50% merit base scholarship for Bangladesh national under the academic session 2018-19. Applicants having CGPA 3 out of 4 in Bachelor or Master level is eligible for 50% merit base scholarship and the students who have CGPA below 3 is eligible for 35% economy scholarship. This is a special scholarship scheme only valid for the academic year 2018 and the scholarship will be awarded for entire duration.

Fees and financial budget
M Tech
Regular tuition fees per year: USD$ 5,000
Tuition fees per year after 35% scholarship: USD$ 3,250
Tuition fees per year after 50% scholarship: USD$ 2,500

PhD
Regular tuition fees per year: USD$ 3,000
Tuition fees per year after 35% scholarship: USD$ 1,950
Tuition fees per year after 50% scholarship: USD$ 1,500

Hostel and residential facility
This year under the special scholarship scheme, Bangladesh national will be allowed to stay at domestic hostel with Indian students. However, hostel is not a mandatory option. Student may stay outside the hostel with lower costs. Hostel fees per year at domestic hostel is INR 1,30,000.

Admission process from Bangladesh
To assist Bangladesh national from admission to alumni, SRM Institute of Science & Technology launched a Student Information Center in Bangladesh. Student and guardian may contact the center for any sort of inquiry. The center do not charge any consultancy fees from the guardian or students. Entire service is free of cost.
