Primary results published with 95.18 percent success rate

The results of fifth graders primary terminal examination under the academic year 2017 have been published today.  A total of 95.18 percent students have passed accourding to results, which is 3.33 percentage points lower than that of previous year. 92.94 percent students passed at Ebtedayee examinations.  

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Gono Bhaban residence around 10:30am.

The examinees can get their results from their respective schools. Besides, primary students can get their results on the websites of Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) www.dpe.gov.bd. Student can also get their results via short messaging service (SMS).

Over 30 lakh fifth graders attended the Primary School Certificate (PSC). Of them, 28,04,509 were from primary schools while 2,91,566 from madrasas. The exams ended on November 26. 

A total of 2,62,609 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in the examination this year.
