At ABU ROBOCON, 2014- Peng on Dai Gat, Hong Kong, China ranked SRM amongst the top 16 overall and 4th in the league matches and was one of the five teams to complete the statement in the History of Robocon in 2012.

Promoted to Grade ‘A’ in Robotics and Automation at the National ROBOCON India.

The SRM Robocon team not only improved but also won a National award for ‘The Best Economical Robot’ which is among the 8 awards that are given to 8 best teams in different categories.
