Mechanical Engineering Scholarship at SRM University

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering admission is going on at SRM University, Chennai, India under the academic session 2017-18. SRM University ranked 801 Groups in World Higher Education ranking 2015-2016 by the Times Higher Education. The University runs a wide range of programs across its Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Science and Humanities, and Management. SRM is accredited by ABET one of the two institutions in India.

Mechanical engineers require a solid understanding of key concepts like mechanics, thermodynamics, energy and manufacturing. They use these principles in design, analysis, machinery and much more. B. Tech. Mechanical Engineering is a comprehensive degree program. Principle study topics include fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, solid mechanics, materials engineering, manufacturing, energy systems, dynamics and control, Computer Aided design (CAD), and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).

After 35% scholarship, tuition fees per year: USD$ 5,850

Residential facilities:
At SRM University, we have separate hostel facility for male and female students.
Hostel Cost varies in between USD$ 2,250 to USD$ 4,500 per year

Admission formalities:

  • Visit SRM University Student Information Center in Bangladesh to collect admission application form. Fill up the form accordingly and send back to us along with your SSC and HSC Certificates, Transcripts, Copy of Passport and one recent color photograph.
  • Now you have to pay Application fees USD$ 50. You can pay the fees using a credit card or contact SRM University Student Information Center in Bangladesh to pay the same.
  •  Upon receiving the application fees (non-refundable), we will issue a provisional admission letter within 3 working days.
  •  After receiving the provisional admission letter along with instruction, you have to pay 1st year tuition fees and other associated cost to the university account mentioned at your admission letter from a local bank.
  •  Now e-mail your proof of payment to us along with prescribed medical checkup report form with test reports (medical checkup report will be available with your provisional admission letter).
  • We will issue a final acceptance letter within 7 working days on which you can apply for visa.
  •  If you wish to stay at our domestic hostel, in that case you will have to pay the hostel fees before 15 February 2017.
  • We will guide you through the visa process free of cost.
  • Visa application fees BDT 600 you have to pay to the High Commission of India while lodging your visa application.
  • If you need air ticket, we will also arrange the same, but you have to pay the ticket charge.
  •  Now join the university at the end of July 2017.
