SRM University’s Mechanical Engineering department conducts national and international conferences to share their knowledge obtained through research with other researchers in India and abroad. Under the semester abroad program 3 students have been sent to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

SRM University is offering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with very low tuition fees of USD 3000$ per year. Moreover 50% merit base scholarship is available for Bangladesh nationals under the academic session 2018-19. The University is also conducting an admission seminar in SRM University’s Student Information Center in Bangladesh which is going on.
